Europe: Finally Some PS Store Dates
There has been much confusion and debate recently on just when Europe are going to start receiving some of the Playstation Store downloads that are very much available in North America.

Well according to Sony's somewhat unofficial blog site Three speech here are some provisional dates for Europe and the UK.

Calling all Cars - May 18th
Nucleus - May 25th
Super Stardust HD - June 15th

Still no word on the verious demos and trailer, but this is a step in the right direction i guess.

Calling all cars please!! It had better be on the store tomorrow or there'll be serious trouble, and the last thing Sony needs right now is a chav on the rampage. I've been patient long enough, now give me what I want!!!

Ok so it's now 18th May. The day Calling all cars was supposed to be out on the EU PS Store. And.......Where is it? As is typical of Sony lately it's yet another no show. This is really getting beyond a joke now.

Sorry mate I'm not that desperate. I'm also not giving up on something that's cost me the best part of a grand. I am, however extremely angry. 8 weeks ago I was the biggest PS3 fan you could possibly get, but the longer things like this go on, the faster my opnions are changing.


No matter how much I end up resenting Sony for their shitty customer support I will NEVER get me a 360. I would rather stop playing on games consoles completely and just go to PC gaming.

EDIT: Unless things change very quickly Sony are going to be getting a rather long and unfriendly letter from me. I've always been a big Sony supporter but I only have so much patience.

in all seriousnes (sp?) i don't think they will listen to your letter. can't you just admit that the network, no matter how much sony say, it will never match live. it will probably fail just like the shitty PS2 online......if you can call it that.

orrrrr they just don't care for europe.

I don't have a problem with the network as a whole it's just the store that's shit. And you say that they won't listen to my letter. You're probably right but I won't know unless I try. Too many people sit on their arses complaining but will do nothing about it. I'm not one of those people and I've spent a hell of a lot of money on my PS3 and other accessories and I am simply unwilling to settle for what I feel is a second rate service at best. Also if Sony don't care about Europe then they really don't deserve such a loyal fanbase.

Got to agree with ScootaKuH. Will never go to shitbox. Why pay a subscription fee to do nearly the same on ps3 for free. Damn frustrated myself but I've got Virtual Console on Wii to keep me happy for the mo. I know once Sony get their act together, and they will, I'll be spoilt for choice between retro on wii and retro/original on ps3. Life will be good. Never give up on ps3. Ninty/Sony rock. Microsoft have only three good original titles ( Halo, Gears of War, Lost Planet ). The rest are stolen from others ( GTA, Devil May Cry 4, Ace Combat, Rare Studios etc etc ).

yea i agree wiv ScootaKuH we need somethin new and quick ive loved sony/ps1/2/3 for years they have always out dne microsoft in every way till now i do have 360 aswell and at tha mo i seem ta be spendin alot more time onit prob beacuse more choice of games / downloadable demos sony really need 2 pull there fingers out or they'll have an angy welsh man on the blower 2 lol
