Playstation Network - 1.3 Million Users Worldwide
Sony have today confirmed the Playstation Network has reached a massive 1.3 Million users. With the bulk of members, some 600,000 users from North America alone.

These are pretty impressive figures but we can't help but feel these numbers should be higher, especially given the fact some 2 million units were shipped to North America but it seems only a quarter of them were registered online.

I don't know about the number sold. I know of 2 people that just bought the thing as a blue ray player and bairly ever touch it for games.

Ya a lot of people did get it for Blu-Ray since it is the best and the cheapest on the market and as an added bonus YOU CAN PLAY GAMES!!!!THe best games ever,*coughcoughAssasinsCreedcoughcough* hopefully
