The Last Remnant Details Surface
The upcoming Square Enix title 'The Last Remnant' has been kept fairly quiet and little is known about the game.
In this months The Game Informer magazine there's a nice selection of screenshots and a few nice little tidbits about the game shared.
According to the mag, the game will make use of the Unreal Engine 3 and that the game will be a turn based RPG in a mystical world.
The use of the UE3 would suggest a PS3, Xbox 360 and possibly PC platform.
In terms of the games actual storyline, it is believed to be entirely based upon two heroes caught up in a mystical world of war caused by strange objects called Remnants. Each hero has his own reasons for joining the fight. The game play is slated to be like previous Square Enix games only with a lot more features and more action going on the screen.
