Gran Turismo HD as demo
Polyphony Digital and Sony have today announced plans to scrap a boxed version of the highly anticipated Gran Turismo HD in favour of a demo version available from the Playstation Store.

Due for release on Xmas eve in Japan, Gran Turismo HD Concept will consist of ten cars and two layouts of a single track according to an announcement from designer Kazunori Yamauchi.

Polyphony plan to focus all their efforts on development of Gran Turismo 5, but have not ruled out any plans to offer further concept demos to gamers.

Gran Turismo 5 is expected for release in 2008.
