Ubisoft confirm Haze delayed until March
Haze publisher Ubisoft have today confirmed that the title will be pushed back until March.
Free Radical have given very little away about their upcoming first-person shooter. It was originally revealed at last years E3 show where a trailer was on display. But since then little information has been made available.
Ubisoft today announced in its quarterly financial filing that the shooter has slipped out of its original launch window and into the companies next fiscal year (April1, 2007 – March 31, 2008).
Haze is a visceral war story, told over a continuous three-day period. Set in the not-too-distant future, the game puts players in the boots of a soldier in a well-funded privatized army run by the Mantel Corporation. Haze opens with players sent to put down a rebel faction in a South American country, but Ubisoft says "things quickly begin to look a little strange."
