In an interview with GamesIndustry.biz, former Shiny Entertainment boss Dave Perry piled on praise for the Playstation 3 console calling it "the best piece of hardware, without question".

Perry also mentioned that he believes it will be years before developers tap into the power of the PS3, "I haven't seen anything even close to what the machine's capable of doing," he claimed. "So that's the sad part for Sony - I feel really bad for them that somebody hasn't really stepped up to show us the hardware all singing, all dancing."

"The point is you're not going to get to see the PlayStation 3 for probably a couple of years, and then you're going to go, 'Wow, that's incredible.'"

i saw this and i think its true but no one else will believe it for like 3 years

but that is what i like about the ps3 is that it is going to just keep getting better and better over the years, if someone stepped up right now then we would have nothing to look forward to...

^True.

Like, how people are complaining about how FFXIII is not coming out this year.

Now, dont get me wrong, I love FF. But, if FFXIII came out now...then, no way would it utilise the full power of PS3.

People expect something amazing from a game of that standard.

The gane I see taking most advantage of the PS3 right now has to be...Heavenly Sword. It looks fantastic.

And that game is due for late 2007. I mean, if PS3 can do this now...Imagine what games will be like a couple years down the line.

gt5 or hd whatever they call it looks pretty cool aswell

GT HD was originnaly planned as a fully fledged game, but then they just made it as a free "samp,e£ download as to what to expect from GT5.

GT doesn't interest me though. I have to admit though, what I have seen of HD is amazing...

thanks mate but i dont have my ps3 get it 23rd its just that i read on here you can register without having the console chris has not got his yet??
