Hello, just got my ps3 last week on my birthday....but just wanted to know if theres an easier way to install linux without having to burn it onto a DVD, like are they going to have an update or is there a CD i can buy?
also when burning .iso files you NEED NERO 7 idk if 6 or early will do it but you need NERO 7 you can get a free trail to it and that works great

did you down load it as a iso file the only program i know that burns iso is nero i use it for my roms for psx and so on

Yeah I burned the ISO with roxio. There are plenty of software that will burn ISOs... I use Roxio or PowerISO. By the way, you should really check out PowerISO, it is probably one of the best image burning software out there...
oh kool i havent look at what the other software can do a friend suggested it for to but i'm just running it as a demo any ways so not like i piad for it

damnit, i really dont feel like buying a DVD burner just to get linux. So sonys not gonna release some kind of DVD that you can just buy or an update? cause right now, im starting to regret having bought a ps3 but then again it is still a bit early to buy one so all i can do right now is wait plus im still using an SDTV T_T...... plus the fact that you cant listen to your music while playing games kinda sucks too.
