The EXACT words i get from my ps3 wen testing my connection are:

"An error occured while resolving the name with the server. (80710102)"

dus ny1 hav a clue wat it is yakkin on about - it sounds like its talkin bout sumthin simple but im stumped and this is really starting to p*** me off (help wud b MUCH appreciated).

807 error is most likly cause tehres to many people on try again in a hour

Hi
I have been having the same problem (DNS error 8010102) for months now. I have tried it with both wired and wireless connections and get the same problem.
I am using a netgearWGR614 V6
can anybody help?

dsn error 80710102 l had the same problem since the weekend it turned out l had put the wrong wep code in what l did was reload my disk that came from broadband supplier to connect my router went through the procedure again as if it was the first time l had run it which gave me my wep key again when re entered got straight on line the only code you need with a router is the wep code and then when asked go into easy set up this is for the wireless conection l have a netgear router and on aol hope this help some of you

you can also check out the set up guide at PS3L33T, there's alot of troubleshooting stuff there also. Anyway, it helped me

Any one know how to listen to music on line? I have a picture but no sound. I have sound with games through PS3 but not when I go to an on line radio station. Anoying! Help!!!

Why does this happen?
Online for NHL 08 I can get into the lobby and chat and the sports ticker is going with up to date scores so I am obviously online but whenever I try to join a game or challenge someone it says I lose connection to the EA server? It says my signal bars are as strong as anyones and have a good connection but it won't work when I try to play a game. Has anyone had this problem and if so how did they fix it? Could their be something wrong with my PS3? BTW I played online the night before with no problems and now it doesnt work? Any help would be appreciated this really sucks and I am getting very frustrated. Thanks....
