You need to tell us what type of connection you have. Broadband, wired or wireless, using a router, your security settings, MAC address filtering and so forth.

The easy answer would be to use the ethernet cable supplied with your PS3, hook one end to your broadband mode, the other to your PS3. Go to Settings -> Network Settings and select Wired -> Easy and you're done!

im using a wireless router its broadband .. i have WEP security and my MAC code for my ps3 is 00:19:C5:7B:B6:6F
