help!!! please i stuck on japanese server

i bought a japanese ps3 and resistance from uk it works fine untill i go online when i search for games everyone is japanese how do i change the server please help

Is your PSN using a Japanese? You might need to make a new US or EU PSN ID.

That can't just be it??

If the Jap PS3 is connecting to Jap servers there is something within the settings telling it where to connect. Although this may not be able to be edited through the XMB, I guarantee if you keep diggin you'll find a way of changing the connecting server, although you may need to install Linux as a 2nd OS.

Don't give up, and please let us know if you find out how to change it. I will keep you posted if I can find a solution....

to be honest i dont know what that means

No Insomniac say at the mo you can only connect to the country of your PS3 servers. they're gonna release a patch were by you can play on any international server (no eta), but unfortunatley your stuck for now.
