PLEASE HELP
My fiance plays Pro evolution Soccer 6 online and has always done so on The Playstation 2, today we tried to play online on the PS3 and received a error saying

CANNOT CONNECT AS NETWORK ADAPTOR (ETHERNET CABLE) NOT CONNECTED

Of something like that
On the PS2 We have a Network adaptor that fitted into the back of the PS2 but now we have changed I just took the Ethernet cable out of the network adaptor and put it into the back of the PS3..

PS3 GAMES WORK we were playing Need for speed all night tho it did often lag and get stuck on the loading page when entering a game (Is this normal? it was stuck for so long we had to reset the PS3)

And now I find I CANT PLAY PS2 games online

PLEASE HELP xxx
