I don't think wireless is supported in either YDL or Fedora. The problem is, the OS needs a driver to properly recognize the PS3 WiFi card, and to my knowledge, no such driver exists. However, I could be wrong, since I don't use a WiFi connection with my Fedora, your best bet is to search the net and see if there is a PS3 wireless adapter driver available.
If you are having problems with wired connection, then boot into Gnome, and go to system > administration > Network and create a new ethernet connection with the eth0 profile checked. Activate the connection and it should reset the ethernet connection for you...
