Is it normal to have problems connecting to the server in the day time?
I often try to get into the PlayStation store or play my games online in the day time and I get this error message.

An error has occurred during communication with the server
This is a dns error
(80710102)

Any ideas what this might be? I have no trouble at night don't understand it, hope you can help thanks xxx

hi there,
you are one of the lucky ones, consider it luck that you dont get it 24-7 like myself, I have found no cure yet!

I am using a wireless router to broadcast the internet connection from my Cable modem... you the same?

No, it's not normal. PSN is just really slow from time to time. Still, it's much better than Nintendo's WFC... it's like they're using servers from the 90's.

Sony has a long way to catch up to microsoft in terms of online play, but microsft did have all the same problems at the beginning, Im sure these problems will clear up... eventually
