I'm looking at switching my internet service provider, i currently use tiscali and looking to switch to pipex,

what i wanted to know is if i do swap will ps3 automaticaly recognise change of the provider or will i have to manualy put in all the details.

Your username and password will change so you will have to change those settings in your router. Your new ISP will give you the settings you need. Once you have done this I would think you'll have to reconfigure your PS3 because your IP address will also change.

cheers matey, but i don't need to worry bout it as tiscali have given me the same deal as pipex was offering, 8mb broadband and free local + national calls £27 month.

Amazing what sort of offers they will give you when your saying you want to leave them.
