Trying to buy games online - HELP!
I've finally decided to buy some of the games via the PlayStation Network.

I've entered by card details, but it won't allow me to proceed without the date of when my current card started. Trouble is, my card is a Maestro card (one of the cards in the drop-down menu) which is a debt card (not a creddit card - I don't have a credit card) & my card does not have a start date.

Anyone know out there what I need to do?

Still...along the very bottom of the front of the card I've got "code number", "valid from" and "expires end". Valid from is the start date.

set up an account and put money in it and then buy off the store because without credit you can't buy...there is too many debit card fraud to allow it

Yeah I used debit and it works fine. Debit cards are just as secure as credit cards now because they all use chip and pin here in the UK.
