Wireless Question
Hey,

I may be buying a Ps3 soon and im wondering how good the Wireless is on the Ps3?

I run about 1040kbps (not dl speed) and around 40-140ping anywhere in North America. Would i get a lagless experience Online if i was wireless to my Ps3?

I don’t know about the specks or anything but I use my PS3's wireless and I don’t have a problem on my ps3 no lag on Resistance or Motorstorm. I do get disconnected one in awhile but I think it just because of the way I have my Internet set up.

it will depend on your internet speeds and what ever router you have, also the placement of the wireless router, for the best poss performance place it in a spot with minimal obstruction and as close the the ps3 as possible! im having no probs and im a wirless first timer, oh i have had a couple of server losses but nothing major!

Well, my modem is pretty good from what i hear.. Speedstream something something.

On my Wii i can watch stream videos usually without a interuption and thats on that so yeah. And my Router is downstairs and my Ps3 would usually be upstairs. Not a huge house tho. probably 10meters or so directly.


I just dont wanna have crappy online >.< since its over 50% why im buying the Ps3 probably hehe

hey your computer can pick up a wireless router a lot better then a ps3?? right? so if i was to buy one i can put it in the living room by the ps3 and the computer would still be fine even though it is like 40ft or so away?

or actually i have just a cable modem connected to the cp....now can i buy a wireless router and not have to mess with the modem at all (as in can i leave it conected) and then just config the wireless to my modem and go from there?
