Warhawk Fix List
This thread is intended to keep track of any and all updates to Warhawk (Client or Server), with linkage to posts from developers and trusted sources. There have been many stickied threads with tons of comments buried deep and it is difficult to see when there have been actual updates to the game. Please provide me with any info to keep this list up-to-date, especially if you notice a change during the regular Monday morning service windows (5am – 7am PDT*).

09-05-07 COMMENTS – Dylan Jobe makes first public post
First public post from Warhawk Developer Dylan Jobe (since private Beta posts) acknowledging unforeseen errors and fixes already in the works that will be deployed during service windows
09-06-07 FIX – 5am - 7am PDT Service Window
Deployed fix for occasional/random player drops. Occasionally, worldwide player counts would randomly drop between 1,000 and 1,500 players
09-07-07 FIX – 4:15pm - 6:15pm PDT Service Window
Deployed server-side patch for stats database in an attempt to resolve the errors when games post stats. Brought global servers down, not just US. Old stats not lost, missing stats not resurrected, but should earn new stats. Change for stats database only. Note that stats that you earn are not logged instantaneously with the DB...they could take several minutes.

09-13-07 Running Debug Servers
Developers announce running of new code in real-time on “Incognito-Dev” server. Throughout the next several days, code is tweaked and run in real-time to allow load testing for the changes. First started by running for an hour or two – but within a week, servers were up for 16+ hours for data capture.

The issue with ping displaying as “????” is fixed and will be deployed in future versions (won’t be in Version 1.00)
09-14-07 FIX – 5am - 7am PDT Service Window
To further address stats-related problems due to server load issues.
09-14-07 COMMENTS – COMMENTS – Duplicate Names
Seeing someone else with your same name on the server is confirmed as a glitch and is very closely related to the anomalous (irregular) rank-up issue. Developers have a fix for it, but imply that fix is not yet deployed.
09-17-07 FIX – 12am - 5am PDT Extended Service Window
Server-side update, made really good improvement. Survived pounding from Warhawk community and stat-tracking issues largely corrected.
09-17-07 COMMENTS – Anomalous (Irregular) Rank-up Issue
Further detail and confirmation that "rank-up" bug exists. Developers have subsequently fixed in their code branch for the client-side service patch. No word as to how or when the client patch will be deployed. Question raised about whether or not to reset stats, then developer later states they will work on a solution to correct players’ ranks down to the real ranks they deserve. Developer replies several messages down that they are aware of clans being separated to balance teams and will refocus their efforts on those kinds of issues once major bugs are fixed.
09-18-07 Ranked *Non-Dedicated* Server Tested
Developers roll out a series of new debug servers, including a player-hosted ranked game where someone can play the same ranked game they are hosting. This was due to developer requests from the customer. We have yet to see this feature implemented in our clients since it was removed during the beta when cheaters would unplug network cables to eliminate stats for the session.
10-08-07 FIX – 5am - 7am PDT Service Window
Server-side fix to increase clan player limit from 32 to the correct 64.

Dylan Jobe assures us he has not left the community hanging and is indeed checking posts and helpful glitch videos. “We've been hard at work on the client side patches and will be making a post very soon!” (Source same as 10-08 service window)
UPDATE!!! 10-19-07 COMMENTS – Official Warhawk Client v1.1 Announcement (Source: Playstation.Blog)
Dylan officially confirms the upcoming Warhawk v1.1 patch and details what will be fixed. Note that he also mentions v1.2 which will be coming out in the future (and that will fix the vehicle glitching). <-- Update: Dylan announces that v1.2 change list should be published early next week -->

Client-side updates for Patch v1.1
- Stat connection, fetch/post fixes
- Significantly improved client connection stability
- Quad “????” Ping display bug fixed.
- Added support for Player-Ranked Servers.
- Game synchronization fixes due to fluctuating network conditions (packet-drop).
- Crash fixes for end of game and split screen.
