According to a statement by Infinity Wards, the amount of PS3 users playing CoD4 online is causing huge demand for the network:

I dont have it. Am i missing out? iv been playing call of duty 3, but this just does not cut it anymore.

Yeah it's quite an amazing game. The graphics and game play are spot on. By far the best looking FPS I've seen (Gears of War looked pretty nice however). It allows for both legacy and southpaw control configs also, which is necessary for me to play games of this nature. Feel free to add me, my forum name is the same as my PSN online ID

I'll end up buying either this or HAZE, am only renting COD4 currently

Really? I'd advise you to rethink your choices here. Assassin's creed is currently being universally panned by reviews, getting between 5 and 8 on most sites.

call of duty 4 in high def looks so sweet. I was playing it in standard def and i just got hdtv the other day and started it over with the high def so i could start from the first level in high def and it looks sweeeeeeet

Argh! That game was so shit!

As for the next big online game...it depends what you mean by big? If you mean big console game then maybe. Maybe. If you mean big like pc big then no. It doesn't stand a chance.

can some1 pls tell me if the server is messed up or my game is...i spent the last 2hrs playin cod 4 for no reason...i logged off at level 42...get back on im back to level 41...go back to level 42 again then log off...turn it on again and im stuck at 41 still even though ive been upped twice already...if u got answers...reply
