The Pain of It - help me
Basically, it's probably the same as every1 else. My problem is connecting to online gaming groups. When I load my CoD4 and select the multiplayer option I get the "Downloading Game Settings" and hey presto I am in the lobby. Now this is where the problems start. I can't invite friends and start a game, nor can I join friends after accepting an invite. Am I missing something here or what? Please help as I am slowly running out of patience with what could be the greatest game to date !!

Just play by yourself, the only thing i could think of is maybe your wireless settings are blocking them. Maybe a firewall?

Why what comes up? If it says joining failed its because the party doesn't exist anymore or the game they are in is full.

i have the same problem... i think its the connection.. whenever i go to join one of my friends it says the server timed out.. thats my problem now i have a low signal in my basement

lmao u like that?? will a longer ethernet cord mess up my connection or no about 10 15 yards away.. my router is upstairs and my ps3 is in my basement.. i have a computer in my basement but the router is upstairs?? any ideas i cant find a post about this..

ive got a prob connectin 2 one of my buddies, never have been able 2 no matter wat we do jus cant do it. To answer ur question bout ur cable, no it wont if it was wireless that wud b different

sweet thanks..i figured if i got the longer ethernet cord itll work so lets hope.. ill drill holes in my wall i dont care as long as i can play ahah
