PS3 "cant find access point"

Any one out there with an clue as to what happened.

I had the PS3 up and running thru my wireless network when I set it up last week, and everything was fine and dandy. BUT.. I went to use the tin-ter-net thisafternoon, and it can't find the access point (router)

When I did the set up, I did a search and it found our network, along with a few others (next door ect) Now if I do I search it doesn't find anything. So I'm guessing its not my router (PC is show excellent stregth) Plus it doesn't show find media server for music etc, when on main page.Which it did before.

Is there a setting on the PS3 that I may have changed?

try turning the router on and off

Yried that. But it wasn't finding any signal. I would normally see 3 or 4 from next door ect.

Have youchanged any settings in your router config recently? Also what make/model is it?

No change in setting on router (its a Netopia Model 2247-02) But as mentioned it must be somthing on ps3 as its not picking up any network..

is the green light on on the ps3???? if its on its picking up a signal if not then its not getting the signal.....is the internet connection under the network settings enabled??? tryin to think of a reason.....but this one kinda stumpin me...

I was just about to take it back to the purchase place (on advice from Sony) And I thought I'd give it one more shot. Closed evrything, switched of PS3 router, PC, Blue tooth devices, anything that may interfear. And now, some how, its all working again, fine and dandy.

Thanks for your help though. Just wish I knew what it was that caused the problem in the 1st place!!!
