Try waiting for a minute or two, then if you dont get onto a game try a different game type. I usually start with free for all, it usually doesnt connect for 2-3 minutes, so I try headquarters, domination, etc. You can usually get into a game within 3-5 minutes if you dont care what game type you play (usually less than 3 minutes if you jump around). Unless of course you are stubborn like me and choose to sit and wait for a particluar game and then you may or may not have to wait a while.
Just a side note, I REALLY like the way Resistance has thier online set up. I know that people can come and go particularly with long capture the flag or such, but you can ALWAYS find a game quick to get into because you can SEE how many people are playing and how many open spots there are. Viva La Resistance!!!!
