Since connecting my ps3 online my internet browswer on the PC goes really slowly, I mean slower then 56k dial up slow!
its slow even when the ps3 isnt conencted to the internet
i connect my ps3 to the internet using an ethernet cable running directly from the ethernet socket in the back of my PC to the socket in the ps3. I havnt got a router, so could that be a problem? any help is much appreciated, thanks.

i assume that you have it all networked properly? i used to have mine set up like that and had no probs. what sort of cable do you use to connect your pc to the phone socket?

using ajust a normal phone wire and mico filter, it's been fine so far. I mean, sometimes the connections great but then others it just goes like half the speed of my old dial up 56kbps internet.

ii had the same prob with mine, its the wire! its only good for phone calls! i changed it to proper internet cable and never had a prob after that, im wirless now which is brill!

you need to get proper internet cable which can take better speeds, it should fix your prob
