I think when you connect more than one internet enabled device to 1 router, it starts to split up the bandwidth. So if your router sucks, then maybe you might need a better one.

Thats what i did, but you dont have to spend alot of money getting a desent one

You have way to much lag you need two routers i tried it and it wouldn't work so get another router your ps3 gets used to the one sign in address and it only signs in on that one even with two ps3's hooked up if that doesn't work then make two brand new PSN names and start over

I've had that problem. For some reason I decided to choose the "custom" way instead of "easy" and I entered a bunch of crap and it worked. But now I can't have my PS3 and my laptop hooked up to the internet at the same time. If anyone has any advice it would really be helpful. I really don't want to have to send my PS3 in to Sony and have them mess with it for 3 weeks.
