Connecting 2 PS3's on 1 router and playing online @ the same time
We have 2 ps3's in our home and we are trying to get them both to play online at the same time. We both can connect to the playstation network, just can’t play online at the same time. How can we fix this? Playstation support has been no help. This problem is an issue with our router, I think. I’m pretty good at troubleshooting, but this I can’t fig out. Please help. We are done taking turns with online play.

I don't see why it wouldn't. I've got three computers on the same router. It has 4 hook ups on it. If the ports were managed and made for each PS3. I have not done it so I am only saying I think it could work.

You might need to manually lease IP addresses in the PS3's setting, and or change the IP leasing from the router and link it to the mac address of the PS3.
Port forwarding might help as well.
Even that prob won't fix it tho.
You router is prob having a hard time figuring out who the packets belong to or some such BS.
