Help with PS3 & Routers !
Ok so heres my problems. My router is connected wireless to my ps3. The connections fine and everything. But the thing is that when im on the computer and my brothers on the ps3, then when he leaves a game, my connection on my internet would go away, and on the ps3 it would sign off. I dont know why it does this? My router is a Linksys WRT54GS WIRELESS-G Broadband router. My router is connected to my DSL and LAN on the back of the computer. My IP service is with Bell Sympatico. So, my computer and PS3 are right beside eachother, so i tried out to connect the ps3 with an ethernet cord into my router. I get connection and everything but it still does the same thing of disconnecting. Im getting tired of this ! And another thing is that my NAT type is stuck at NAT3 , when fully i did some research on other forums , learning how to change it to NAT2. I opened some ports, I tried DMZ. I did everything i read. I want to have NAT2 because i just bought a headset and i want to communicate during games. So PLEASE, I repeat PLEASE ! Can someone help me and guide me step by step and give me a detailed tutorial on how to fix these problems with my router and ps3? Thank you.
