hey so i'm downgrading to dsl i think it is called....all i know is that you have to use the phone line to get online and i was wondering if you can still go wireless with that....or do i have to connect to the back of the ps3 with a cord....i'm not all that cp savy
so basically is there like a router that i can get that can be wireless?
if anyone can help that would be great because i still want to play cod4 online but i have to switch my internet because it is a lot cheaper to go with this route

I have Verizon DSL personally, and I have my PS3 hooked up wirelessly. What you have to do is...

Get yout modem your ISP will give you, hook it up to your phone jack with a regular phone cord. Then from your modem, get a wireless router (I have a Linksys WRT54G, ~$50) and hook your computer or whatever to that directly. Then from your router you'll send a signal to your PS3.

yeah thanks but i haven't switched yet but when i do i'll prolly ask again
and also what games do you play online and if you do do you lag a bunch or is it pretty good

That have not tried, since I'm NAT3 I'm trying to get to NAT2 first. :/

I'll mess with it today since school got canceled.

ok cool thanks for the help but i geuss i'm not chaning my internet so i'm going to get wireless cable so i'll ask for help soon
