The one that I have is just a Linksys WRTG-54, it's ~$50 from BestBuy. So far, I've played Call of Duty 4 for about 7 hours, and only lagged a couple times.

Works great for me.

Excellent question. I'm looking into getting a router as well. I haven't heard the best about linksys, but could be just a bunch of naysayers.
