I recomend a Jabra headset as well. I got mine when I bought the game Warhawk. To "link" a headset, as you call it, go to (accessories) in the system menu. Then select (register bluetooth device.) It will give options like blu ray remote, keyboard, headset. Stuff like that. Obviously select headset. Now turn on your headset, it will ask if you want to search for devices of something like that. Whatever headset you have, you have to now hold the power button on the headset down for like 5 to 10 seconds or something. This puts it into like a recieving mode. Select search on the PS3 and wait for it to find your headset. Once you see your headset model on the screen, select it and it will register. If you want to see if it worked before you play a game, in the accessory section there's an option to select audio device or something. Select that, and if the button on the screen that says "connect bluetooth" is lit up, select it and it should pair up with the headset. At the top of this screen is a bar that shows if your voice is being picked up, it will also allow you to hear yourself in the headset assuming everything went well. Hope this helps cuz i just typed it all out. hahaha
