Sprint USB Modem to Get PS3 Online.

Hey I have a Sprint USB modem and I need to know how to use it to get my PS3 online. I've seen it done with 360s. I have it pluged into my laptop and am connected. But how do I use an ethernet cable to get the PS3 online?
