Anyone knows why I'm getting this? I just figured how to get online 2 days ago by setting "port forwarding", this worked GREAT for the first night. No interruptions whatsoever. Then I was playing COD4 for about 40 mins in, I got a "Connection Interrupted" then got cut off. Sign in again played for another 20 mins then BAM I would get hit again..
I noticed that before when i had problems getting online i was a NAT3, after i port forward I'm still at a NAT 3 but i could get online and download some new software.. That seems strange to me. Any ideas how i can fix this?
try and enable upnp mate in router settings that sometimes set ya nat to 2 have ya put the port numbers in for psn and cod4 m8 if so let us know ya router type and see if we can shed some light ok m8
check if upnp is enbaled like he said and/or set the IP of your PS3 in a demilitarized zone. (router will allows connection on all ports to ps3 as if it were outside of your network so to speak).
You may want to staticly assign an IP to your ps3 as well if you are setting it in a DMZ.
