hi all i am new to this forum and i am in desperate need of some help.

i have checked all my settings and everything is showing that i am connected to the internet. i go to network and click on www but it goes straight to the playstation network and will not let me have the option to browse the internet. what am i doing wrong? is there a way to get to the internet through the psn? i cannot remember ever being able to browse the internet before. i currently own the 40gb ps3 and i am running on a netgear wireless router into my comcast modem. any help would be appreciated. thank you so much for your time and consideration.

are u pressing select when u go on to type in ur website? can u download content off the psn? connect to games online?

I think by default the Playstation Network is your home page on the browser. This can be changed as I have mine on google.

I'm in work so I'll try guide you by memory. I think when you open the browser and it opens up to the Playstation network. Press the triangle button and some options open up. In there you should be able to find where to change the default home page.
