Can't Sign into Playstation Network,error Code 80710B23
Hi people, i have a BIG problems and hope someone out their can HELP please...
Have been using my PS3 for 6 months now and no problems, however yesterday (18-04-08) i could not sign in.I went to the "playstion network" icon on the menu bar, clicked on the "sign in" icon, up came my "sign-in e-mail address" and my "password" (all auto filled in correctly), so i clicked the "sign in" tab at the bottom and it came up with "signing in please wait" ,however after 10 seconds i got a message saying "an error has occurred. you have been signed out of PLAYSTATION r NETWORK. then the error code 80710B23.
It has been doing this since last evening.I have spoken to "tech help Sony" who passed me onto a games helpline, who helped me open "new ports", BUT ,this still hasn't solved the problem and im still logged out...
Starting to loose faith in the PS3 now as my sons PS3 is being exchanged on monday due to an optical eye problem....
CAN ANYONE PLEASE HELP ME ,even if its to say its knackered or Playstation network are having problems.
I have tried "updating" the software, but it says its up to date, im running version 2.30.
