Ip Fragments....

Hello. Yeasterday I plugged my Ps3 in my router with an ethernet cable. After I played I shutted PS3 down, took the Cable out from the PS3 and went to sleep. Today when I woke up I suddenly could not play on the internet.."The router in use may not support IP fragments and the communication features of some games may be restricted"..

ANYONE can tell me why this happend over a night? It worked 100% yeasterday when I played online...Now suddenly I got this fking error? Damn... I have NAT2 btw, everything works but I get this strange message and I cant play online in GTA IV.

try this:

The IP fragments message means your MTU setting in your router is not correct. Insure the MTU setting on your PS3 is set to automatic and try to locate the MTU value in your router pages and note what it is. If it's 1500 it may need to be lower.

Go to this web site http://help.expedient.com/broadband/mtu_ping_test.shtml

It will assist you in determining your correct MTU value.

Also, what make router is it?

It's a Zonet Router. Model ZSR0104CP-05 (Blue color)

Going to try the MTU now.

Edit - I do that guide. At 1492 i get the first screenshot message (The packages needs to be fragmented ect ect..But when I try to lower it, It just gets "Timed out.." "Timed out..."

Why do I get timeouts after 1460~?'

Edit2 - Why did it work yeasterday but not today? Really strange imo -_-
