Hi all,i am new to all this online gaming stuff so bare with me
For xmas i got a PS3 it is a 80GB one i am now trying to get online with it but when i click internet connection settings>Easy>(wait for checks)>Wired network> it then says please connect an ethernet cable,but i know for a fact that i have it connected seeing as i can look right and see it in the PS3
I have tryed doing it manually i entered my laptops ip adress and i have entered the Default Router,Primary and secondary DNS,i use a modem and router(4 plug things for wires) my modem is DLink and thats all i kno,bout it sorry.When i use the internet on my laptop or any other computer it runs fine and fast, at end of custom connection thing it says "Obtain ip address : Failed A connectio nerror has occured (80010201)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I REALLY WANT TO GO ONLINE WITH CALL OF DUTY 4 PLEASE HELP MEEE
I have been online with xbox360 it worked fine HELP PLZZZZZZ
