COD5 Party Hosting NAT3 NAT2 Port Forwarding Issues

Hi guys,

Please, please please, someone save me from going totally ****in insane here!! I 've spent the last couple of days trying to sort out the fact that I don't seem to be able to host a party on COD5. I know, I know, bear with me for a second. I've tried everything and I mean everything to try and sort this out. I have assigned my PS a static IP address and placed that outside the NAT3 firewall in my router via the DMZ option. That helped me to find games a little more easily but didn't change the fact that I can't host a freakin party. I then did all the port forwarding components that a friend of mine had done (and he can host no problem at all, in fact, he's the only person I know that can actually host a party!!) but that didn't help either!! I was under the impression that when you did the port forwarding thing that your NAT type should change from 3 to 2 but mine stays as 3 no matter what I do. I have another friend that has the same problems as me and he says his NAT type is 2 to begin with!! I'm totally confused. Oh yeah, I've also tried turning off/on the UPnP on my router but that did jack shit also. I'm losing it!!! Surely it can't be this hard to host a party. I'm starting to realise why I like R2 so much.........It works!!! Does anyone have an answer?? I've spent a total of about 10 hrs dredging through forums and various sites looking for an answer but I've come up with nothing difinitive. Help me Obi Wan, your my only hope!!!!!!!...................
