Is it easy to get the PS3 online?......because i can't do it with the 360 no matter what =[
is it just a case of plugging it into the back of your pc/laptop and away you go?

its different on ps3 because its got a wireless connector inside so you just need to set up the address of the connection and the wap key and your online

Thanks Trane226, didn't know there is wireless built into the PS3...little supprise for me lol
so i have a wireless router and a PS3........that's all i deffinatly need?....no ISP details....no crap you gotta go through with the 360?..........if so i'm doomed until i move out =[

when you got a wireless router you normally name your network and the wap key is normally on the box or the router itself

It depends on which model you get. The 60 GB has WiFi and the ethernet port, but the 20 GB only has the ethernet port which makes it identical to the 360 in terms of difficulty to connect. I would say the WiFi is even more difficult since you have to configure your wireless router.
